Feb - Miss Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo Pageant
The Miss Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo Pageant is a scholarship pageant for girls ages 6–21 that celebrates confidence, leadership, and community spirit. Contestants compete for titles and scholarship opportunities in the Miss category while serving as ambassadors for the Opp & Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce and the annual Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo. These young ladies proudly represent our community throughout the year at local events and appearances.
April - SpringFest
Spring Fest is a fun-filled community event hosted by the Opp & Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce featuring local vendors, food trucks, handmade goods, shopping, and family-friendly activities. Held each spring at the Opp Farmers Market, the event brings together businesses, makers, and the community for a day of supporting local and celebrating the season. Spring Fest continues to grow each year as one of Opp’s favorite community events.
May - Women In Business Social
The Women in Business Social is an evening dedicated to empowering, connecting, and celebrating women in our community and local business world. Hosted by the Opp & Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce, this event brings together women of all backgrounds for networking, fellowship, light refreshments, and encouragement from local female leaders and professionals. The Women in Business Social creates an inviting atmosphere where women can build relationships, support one another, and grow both personally and professionally.
June - Hall of Fame Banquet
The Opp Hall of Fame Banquet is an annual event hosted by the Opp & Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce to honor individuals, businesses, and leaders who have made a lasting impact on our community. The evening celebrates leadership, service, and dedication to the City of Opp while bringing the community together for a night of recognition and fellowship.

June - Mini Maker Market
The Mini Makers Market is a fun and creative event designed to give young entrepreneurs and creators the opportunity to showcase and sell their products to the community. Hosted by the Opp & Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce, the event encourages creativity, confidence, and business skills while supporting local youth and their talents.
Sep - Farm City Tour
The Farm City Tour is a unique community event that gives participants the opportunity to explore and learn more about the agriculture, businesses, and industries that help our area grow and thrive. Hosted by the Opp & Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce, the tour highlights the importance of agriculture and local partnerships while connecting the community to the people and places that keep Covington County moving forward.
Nov - Farm City Banquet
The Farm City Banquet is a special evening dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the hardworking individuals, businesses, and agricultural leaders who play an important role in our community.
